We are a group of young, enthusiastic, and passionate students who brought the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) to the University of Jordan, establishing the IISE UJ Chapter to meet the academic and social needs of industrial engineering students. Originally founded in the United States, IISE is the largest professional society for industrial engineers, with chapters at numerous universities worldwide. Since our chapter’s establishment on January 21, 2016, IISE UJ has grown into one of Jordan’s leading student-led organizations, fostering a community of over 450 students and graduates. Our chapter provides opportunities for professional development, community engagement, and involvement in charitable initiatives.
